It offers a perfect harmony of aromas and flavours. Its straw yellow to golden yellow colour and fine-grained consistency are characteristic of the authentic Italian parmesan. After 24 months of careful maturation, it unfolds its special full-bodied and strong nutty taste.
It matures for at least 20 months. During this time, it develops its intensely spicy taste, which is softer and milder than Parmigiano Reggiano. In addition to the incomparable taste, this Italian hard cheese is characterised by its straw yellow colour and its coarse-grained consistency. It was awarded the gold medal in the best Grana Padano Category at the International Cheese Awards 2018 in Nantwich.
