Method
  1. Add the potatoes into a saucepan/pot of boiling water and cook for 12-15 minutes. Drain well. Keep warm.

  2. In one bowl, crack an egg, add black pepper, and then whisk with a fork. In a second bowl, add the flour. In a third bowl, add the breadcrumbs. Now the process for frying the cheese is ready!

  3. Coat your Caprice des Dieux in the flour, then in the beaten eggs, and then in the breadcrumbs. For a thicker crust (outer-layer), coat it a second time in the beaten eggs and then the bread crumbs.

  4. Pour 200ml of oil into the saucepan over medium heat. When the oil begins to sizzle, carefully add the cheese and cook for 3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. After it is fried, place the cheese on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.

  5. Prepare your salad with greens, carrots, rocket, lettuce, and anything else of your choice!

  6. Serve the Caprice des Dieux on a plate with the potatoes and dressed salad. Cut the top off the cheese and dip the potatoes inside. Enjoy the gooey texture of the cheese!
