Try the French version of risotto, you might even like it more than the original. Update the Italian classic with our creamy, spicy recipe by using Saint Agur blue cheese instead of Parmesan.

Prep Time 30 Minutes
Cook Time 20 Minutes
Serves 4
Method
  1. Fry the rice in olive oil in a pan until translucent for 1-2 minutes. Add the white wine and reduce the liquid.

  2. Add the stock gradually to the rice until the rice is covered and let it boil down while continually stirring.

  3. Repeat this process until the risotto is perfectly cooked (approx. 20 minutes, depending on your personal taste: al dente or well done).

  4. Using our Saint Agur makes the recipe particularly tasty and creamy. First, cut the blue cheese into fine pieces and then add to the risotto and stir until it has melted completely.

  5. Fry the ham in olive oil until cooked.
Season to taste with salt and pepper, use deep plates for plating up and garnish with the fried ham… Enjoy your meal!
